Choose your own pace to work out and then enjoy relaxation and wellness in our SPA area even more.

We can recommend a wide range of sports to those who get to know East Frisia at the Hotel Fährhaus. Feel free to ask us about routes and equipment for your activity. We know the area like the back of our hand and also have one or two items available for hire. As you can see: We are ready for anyone who wants to exercise and enjoy fitness on the North Sea. And if you have your trainers with you: Of course we also know some nice jogging routes.

The wide horizons, the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site, the tides, the beaches and the East Frisian landscape - how would you like to discover it?

In East Frisia there are extensive, well-signposted cycle paths. In addition, the ‘paddle and pedal’ nature experience is a great combination of cycling and canoe tours. All occasional and hobby cyclists will find everything they need. The paths on the dykes naturally invite you to hike, walk, jog and stroll. But it is also inviting and inspiring to get off the beaten track and wander through the countryside or along the beaches.

Wrap up warm, keep your nose to the wind and walk through the clear cold air of the winter seasons. There is hardly a greater pleasure than celebrating your return to the house with a hot and wonderful chocolate or going straight on to the wellness area with saunas, swimming pool and fitness area. You will be surprised how relaxing such a ‘cure’ is for the stressed mind of a normal everyday life. Therapy is nothing compared to this - try it out, whether as a pure wellness programme or because you want to leave something more behind - the sea won't ask a question.
